Juvenile rehab readies troubled youths for re-entry

When kids commit crimes in the state of Washington, their cases are managed by the Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration, a division of DSHS. They’re sent to maximum- or medium-security facilities, depending on the seriousness of their crimes, said Mike Hawkins, program manager at Naselle Youth Camp in Pacific County.
